Back from the mini-vacation.  Stayed with friends and got to know them even better.  Shared some very personal items from our youths that seemed to be common ground for several of us.  Interesting how some of the negatives that shape our lives are not as unique as we think there are.   Yes, the details may differ, but the experience and what it does to our psyche its all too common.  Best to acknowledge it, honor it, and leave it all in the past.
