It struck me… as I’m sitting here watching the Giants on TV…  that there are some people whose entire focus in life is about throwing or hitting a baseball.  How wonderful that must be.  Life is all about playing a game.  At least from here, where I sit thinking my ideas actually mean something.

The baseball player probably looks at me and thinks… here’s a guy who stands in front of his computer and never has to leave his house if he doesn’t want to, while I have to spend half my life on airplanes, half my life in the gym working out, and that’s besides all the things I have to do to stay on top of my game.  We may both agree on the facts, but how it all plays out depends on where you’re standing.

If nothing really matters that much.

Win or lose… it’s fun to play.

Nice way to spend a day.
