Although the inner and outer worlds are both real, they present I with two very valid experiences having separate and distinct attributes that are polar complementary to each other.
Outer reality can be measured but provides no meaning.
Inner reality provides meaning but cannot be measured.
Another way of saying this… more comprehensive and compatible with the New Consciousness, is that the provable physical outside is non-intuitive, while the intuitive spiritual inside is non-provable. Both are necessary for the full human experience. And both define Consciousness itself and the nature of the universe.
Mull this over and you’ll find that the human I is not only capable of bridging the gap between inner and outer reality and unifying the two, it is the ultimate unifying experience. Your I… my I… our ‘I’… exists in-between meaning and measurement. Remember that synapse we discussed? Well… I is that synapse… or I am that synapse… depending on where you are standing when you are looking at it.
