I head down to Palm Springs tonight to visit a friend for the weekend. Temperatures there have ranged up to 120 degrees… over twice the temperature here in San Francisco. I am actually looking forward to experiencing it… not for long, mind you, but just for the experience. Sort of like the sky diving I did last year. It’s nothing I want to do very often, but at least I’ll be able to understand what people who do live there have to go through on a regular basis. By tomorrow, I’ll know.
