Today we leave.  Traveling a quarter way around the world to a place where we can lay back, relax, take it easy… and, oh yes, swim and snorkel in warm, crystal clear water.  I remember when we first moved to San Francisco and felt the different energy from upstate New York and the East Coast.  What different energy will we feel here?

A native American teacher of mine says that people are drawn to certain areas, climates, and energies the same way fruits and vegetables are drawn to certain areas and climates.  Some people like being surrounded by neighbors, others think even seeing another house means that the neighbors are too close.  What energy will we feel on St. Croix?  Will we fit in?  Somehow or other I think we’ll be able to manage for two weeks.  🙂
